Festival of Devotion 2010

réla Bhaktivedänta Näräyaëa Mahäräja, now ninety years old, recently completed his 30th world tour, spreading the glories of Çré Caitanya Mahäprabhu and Çré Çré Rädhä-Kåñëa. He is recognized internationally as a spiritual master of Vedic culture and Sanätan-dharma, and was formally awarded the title Yugächarya, an honor given only once every 100 years, by all of the senior pundits of Vrindavan.

Johannesburg events of interest 2010

Last year’s most highlighted event The Shared Histories which was the brainchild of the Indian Consulate, a festival aimed to expose a kaleidoscope of contemporary Indian culture to mainstream South African audiences.
