Yoga To Take Over Durban Beachfront

Durban: The International Day of Yoga is set for a serene showcase along Durban’s Beachfront on the 18th of June.

After being unanimously declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 2014, this global day of awareness around the practise of yoga, has been gaining popularity locally. Indian Consul-General in Durban, Dr Shashank Vikram says events will also be taking place in the Free State and the Eastern Cape.

He says yoga has long-term benefits for managing chronic diseases and a stressful lifestyle.
