The Tamil Federation of Gauteng (TFG) reports on events that was undertaken for 2011;
1. Tamil Unity Meeting “Discussing the different Tamil worshipping;
2. Meeting regarding the Sri Lankan Issues ;
3. Reviving of the Childrens Tamil Eisteddfod;
4. Co-hosting of the Reggie Vandayer event with the Ahmed Katrada Foundation (AKF)
5. Remembering Vailiamma Moodliar ;
6. Writng of the Tamil Exams ;
7. Meeting with Eastern Mosiac , regarding the content

This year would go down in our history, because the TFG has revived the Childrens Tamil Eisteddfod taht was dormant for some time where the East , West and North Region partcipated , and secondly 55 children from all these regions and adults wrote the Tamil Exams. The TFG also remembered the Great Viliamma Moodliar for her political involvement in our country against the “Apartheid Government” the TFG honoured 11 women who served their communities with sincerity and love. the TFG would be jointly launching the book on Valiamma Moodliar with the AKF. The TFG has also been part of the event hosted by the Ahmed Katrada Foundation (AKF) in hounering Politial Stalwart “Uncle Reggie Vandayer ” for his involvement in the fight against Apartheid .
