For 23-year-old Sakshi Rawat, nothing better explains the feeling of marrying one of the most eligible bachelors in the country than being on cloud nine as NDTV reports.

India’s cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni tied the knot last night to fiancee Sakshi Rawat in Dehradun, this too only a day after the engagement.
The mahurat, or auspicious time, for the wedding was set for 8.35 pm and the venue, a country villa owned by former Rajasthan chief minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vasundhara Raje.
The country villa is on the Dehradun-Chakrata road, 20 km away from the place where his engagement was held Saturday, at Bhagirath resort.
Privacy was on top of the list for the newlyweds. With assistance from the police authorities media and fans alike were kept at distance. “They want to have their privacy and we don’t want to encroach on it,” said police offical Singh.
Guests included cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra and RP Singh. Among Bollywood personalities, John Abraham, who recently was in the media for his antics on his bike that led to a 3 day jail sentence.
Dhoni has been reported to have visited Dehradun and Mussoori frequently over the last two years. The girl’s father and Dhoni’s father were working together in Ranchi. Her grandfather, a retired divisional forest officer, lives in Dehradun
