Help raise funds to build a temple in Queensburgh

Queensburgh Hindu Temple The Queensburgh Hindu Temple Society is hosting their Inaugural Golf Tournament at the Bluff National Golf Course on Thursday 29 March 2012. This fundraising effort by the society and its members is in aid of the much required funds to purchase land and build a temple in the Queensburgh area.  At present there are other places of worship in the Queensburgh area, but not a single temple. This means that residents are forced to travel to other areas to participate in important festivals, like Kavady etc. Residents are, in the meantime, holding services in community halls, schools and private residents.

The congregation of QHTS feels strongly about building their very own place of worship and are committed to getting this done sooner rather than later. The public are urged to support this fund-raiser by either participating in the tournament, or by means of sponsors.
