Chalo CinemaChalo Cinema 5 revolves around the life of a film director who is at the crossroads of his life. His last film was a flop which leaves him totally disheartened and dejected. His friends rally around and try to motivate him to come up with new ideas to make a breakthrough in the industry. They suggest that he looks at all the aspects that worked in Indian Cinema in the past. In this Act, through the nostalgic journey of the director combined with AV and dance, we trace the entertaining highlights of Indian Cinema. These highlights will include presenting dances to some of the most memorable music produced for these films. The enactment of early day romance with the leading couples of the era will also add an interesting angle to the show. Act 1 ends with the director having a renewed energy and revitalised creativity to come up with the hit formula.

We continue to follow the director through his renewed passion to make a successful film. The director is earnestly involved in trying to emerge from his flop. The show ends with him promoting his film, giving interviews and being mobbed by the media. To share in his sense of victory and joy, we present the finale with the full cast of dancers. Audio visuals of Indian Cinema through the ages coupled with creative lighting will produce an interesting visual feast for the audience. The choreography and colourful costumes will further enhance this entertaining journey of Indian Cinema up until present day Bollywood. Chalo Cinema 5 cast includes Kajal Bagwandeen, Afzal Khan, Rahul Brijnath, Verdarsha Singh and featuring the Nateshwar Dance Company troupe of dancers.

The show is presented by Epic Entertainment, who presented earlier editions of the Chalo Cinema series. The Chalo Cinema 5 is a visual feast with an all-new cast, featuring the renowned Nateshwar Dance Company. A troupe of 25 dancers will be choreographed by leading Mumbai-based choreographer Shampa Sonthalia.
