With fantastic visuals and the right mix of action, Naayak has set the right tone for a power packed mass entertainer. Vinayak’s style taking is clearly visible in each and every frame. Thaman’s rocking composition deserves an applause. SATS (Southern African Telugu Society) an organization of Telugu people in South Africa in partnership with Ster-Kinekor, are jointly releasing the most awaited movie of star Ram Charan Tej “NAAYAK in Johannesburg and Durban with English subtitles.
If film buffs thought seeing one song with the hero chasing his lady around trees in a seemingly-exotic locale was akin to seeing them all, think again, for this one will be something people have never seen so far on the big screen. The dare comes from a director who gave us ‘Aadi’ to ‘Adurs’, ‘Chennakesava Reddy’ to ‘Dil’ and ‘Tagore’ to ‘Badrinath’.
The latest Ram Charan-starrer with Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul in the lead, lending more than glamour in this commercial entertainer that he swears will be clean, full of fights and a thick comedy track with Brahmi @ Brahmanandam as ‘Jilebi’! And oh! Yes, there is an item number with a charming Charmme too.
The director says, “It goes without saying that it will be different from my earlier films, but surely packaged as a commercial entertainer that viewers of different age groups will enjoy. As for the backdrop, it is yet another case of ‘good vs evil’ and how the former triumphs in the end.” So ‘Naayak’ does appear to hold promise. For one thing it is the trio in the lead and for another it has S.S. Thaman with some fresh music in the six songs, in what is his first project working with Vinayak and Ram Charan. Others in the cast include Jayaprakash Reddy, M.S. Narayana, Raghu Babu, Dev Gill and Ashish Vidyarthi too, apart from Pradeep Rawat.
All set for a Sankranthi release, Vinayak does not want to reveal much about his creation and is content just saying, “I have an ace in this film that I will not reveal.” Naayak is a complete mass entertainer from VV Vinayak again. Highlights of Naayak are expected to be Ram Charan dances, fights and songs.
