BCG Recruitment has launched a One Day course with the aim of putting the power back into the hands of the youth. The course is packed with Interview Skills, CV Formatting, Confidence Boosting and Communication Skills. With the assistance of the Number 1 Youth Radio Station in Gauteng, BCG hosted its first course at the YFM Premises on the 18th February 2013.
Facilitators, Dr Lanette Hattingh, Tyrol Claudio Venturini and BCG’s MD, Clive Chetty were on top form focusing on what these deserving young people should concentrate on if they want to secure themselves employment. “The conventional lax approach towards interviews is just not going to cut it”, said Clive Chetty. He further gave insight into the mind of the employer, saying that Employers are looking for uniqueness, a good command of the English Language and logical thinking. “Employers want to be wowed by the interviewee.”
The response was phenomenal. There was a buzz in YFM’s auditorium at the end of the course. It was a feeling of freedom and empowerment, and as cliché as it may sound, one enthusiastic student said ‘The world is now my oyster.”
All students received a training manual, a notebook, a pen and a Certificate of Attendance on the same day of the course that was presented by YFM’s prized presenters, DJ Ankletap and Miss Pout – Presenters of the 12h00 to 15h00 show. DJ Ankletap delivered a very humorous but encouraging couple of words urging the students to follow their dream and look for their unique talent.
What is great about BCG’s Success Toolkit is that the empowerment does not stop with the course. BCG offers all attendees of the course a free indefinite aftercare service, offering one-on-one critique sessions through social media and face to face where possible.
GOOD NEWS – This CSI Project is here to stay. For a minor commitment fee of R250, you could be one of the students. Registrations are open. Call 011 7720961 or sms your email address to 37835 and BCG will send you more information on how you can be part of the next course.
