SRBM to represent Gauteng at National Bhajan Festival

Bhajans GautengOn April 13th 2013, Hindus around South Africa are set to unite at the 3rd National Raam Bhajana Festival hosted by the Andhra Maha Sabha of South Africa (AMSSA).  To be invited to participate at this event is the most prestigious honour and the Sri Raam Bhajana Mandiram (SRBM) has been asked to be one of the groups to represent Gauteng.

This year marks fourteen years that the Sri Raam Bhajana Mandiram are together and what better way to celebrate fourteen years of religious heritage than at one of the most important Bhajan Festivals on the Bhajan calendar. srbm“The SRBM humbly requests from all those interested; both organisations and individuals, to please assist us by sponsoring; transportation (to and in Durban as well as back to Johannesburg), accommodation (April 12th – April 14th), uniforms and for the maintenance of our instruments for 18 dedicated members” Said Chairman for SRBM, Kresh Gounder

Furthermore, SRBM has also been invited to render Bhajans at the 11th Annual Raam Bhajan Festival of Woodview Ramakrishna Andhra Sabha which will be taking place at the Mount Edgecombe Sri Marieammen Temple on the 13th of April 2013, prior to attending the National Bhajan Festival. Hence, our presence in Durban that weekend is of paramount importance.
