The South African Tamil Federation’s 2014 National Adults Eisteddfod – 13th & 14th September 2014 – Official Results

It is with immense pleasure that the President, Mr Karthigesan Moothsamy and the Executive of The South African Tamil Federation places on record the official results of the 2014 National Adults Eisteddfod held on the 13th and 14th September 2014 which was hosted by The Tamil Federation of Gauteng.

We congratulate all participants who took to the stage and commend each and every one of them for the perseverance, dedication, commitment and passion which they portrayed as they journeyed to take to the stage. The road travelled to compete at the 2014 National Adults Eisteddfod was no doubt one which tested every participant’s strength of character and as such, we acknowledge the winner in all.

The 2014 National Adults Eisteddfod saw active participation from The Tamil Federation of Kwa-Zulu Natal, The Tamil Federation of Gauteng and The Western Cape Tamil Federation.

We thank the family of the Late Mr Nagalingam Moodley for allowing us the opportunity to pay tribute to this great man of honour who contributed to the growth and development of the Eisteddfod movement and for the legacy he left behind in his role as community leader.

We also place on record our gratitude to all the well wishes we received from every corner of the globe and throughout South Africa – your encouragement and support of the participants will forever be etched in their memories.

The memories and friendships created at the 2014 National Adults Eisteddfod will certainly be embedded in the hearts of all our participants.
