Official Diwali Dates

The North Indian population is celebrating Diwali on the 30th October 2016 while South Indian population celebrate on the 29th October.

  • 29 October, 2016 – Deepavali (Naraka Chaturdasi)
  • 30 October, 2016 – Lakshmi Pooja (Diwali)
  • 31 October, 2016 – Bali Padyami (Kartika Shuddha Padwa)
  • 01 November, 2016 – Yama Dvitiya

Note: Deepavali falls on 29 October 2016 (one day before Diwali)
