SASCOC’s expectation this year is that SETE acts as a platform to drive the idea of using sports and recreation as a medium to attract tourists to South Africa.
The SETE platform will benefit SASCOC by enabling them to push the agenda for South Africa to bid for 2022 Commonwealth Games and 2024 Olympic Games. It will also avail SASCOC an opportunity to showcase their work and how the organization is impacting positively on sport in South Africa. The platform also avails National Federations to showcase their sports.
Meeting stakeholders from different industries will also act as a catalyst to foster stronger relationships.
