South Africa’s Aid Helps Chennai Flood Victims

Massive flooding which claimed the lives of 300 Indians led to disaster in the flood ravaged area.

Lotus FM’s Mala Lutchmanan travelled personally to oversee the distribution of aid. The funds raised by SA assists in the delivery of basic needs such as water, staple food, medicines, clothes, building material, utensil and essential items will be purchased in Chennai and distributed.

There has been as many as 347 who died in Tamil Nadu district and about 17,000 that were rescued and sheltered throughout 6605 relief centers.
