We Would Love The Dream Team In SA!

Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Parineeti Chopra and Katrina Kaif are coming together for three-hour shows across six cities in US and Canada. And I think we should campaign for them to rock up here in South Africa!

Titled ‘Dream Team’, they have already started prepping up for the tour and the behind-the-scenes fun video will definitely blow your mind.

While Varun will be seen dancing to his popular numbers including Saur Tarah Ke from Dishoom, the actor is particularly excited about recreating a song from SRK’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra.

Said Varun, “I am doing a song on Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with Alia and Parineeti. We will recreate that.”

Revealing more about the other performances that the team is planning to put up in the US, Varun said, “I will be performing on Sau Tarah Ke while Parineeti will be performing to Jaaneman Aah. We are also doing a Dharma act in which Karan Johar will be dancing to Shava Shava.”

For Varun’s, this will be his first ever live US tour and the actor is looking to spend the rest of his days here rehearsing his steps. “Dream Team rehearsals are going on in full force. All others are rehearsing way more than me as I couldn’t get time owing to Dishoom. My rehearsal will start now and I will be practicing for the next eight days. We are getting to do all the songs we love for audience in America. There is a huge NRI fraternity there and we can perform all our hit songs there.”

Apart from Varun, Alia, Karan and Parineeti Dream Team also comprises of Katrina Kaif, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Aditya Roy Kapur and singer Badshah. Varun also expressed hope about setting the stage ablaze with Katrina Kaif. “There could be a jugalbandi with Katrina Kaif and me,” said Varun.

The first show of Dream Team will kick off on August 12 in Houston.
