Rs 350 crore. We are sure most of us don’t even know the number of zeroes in that amount. But that’s the amount which Baahubali 2 might have made already, before even telling us why Katappa kill Baahubali! Sounds unbelievable, but that’s true. We recently told you that finally, there’s release date for Baahubali 2 and that the sequel to the epic film will be out on 28th April 2017.

But even before the film hits the theares, there are reports that it might have already made hundreds of crores!
According to a recent report in Bollywoodlife, the Kerala theatrical rights of the film were brought at about 10.50 crore approx, beating Kabali records at Rs 7.50 crore. Reportedly, the TN theatrical rights were sold for 45 crores. The Andhra and Telangana rights are yet to be sold, but reports are stating that it might collect around a Rs 100 crore collectively. And the Hindi theatrical rights will probably be sold at about Rs 120 crore. Also, Karnataka rights are yet to be sold. So, if you do the math, Baahubali 2 has already collected about Rs 300 crore in its domestic pre-release deals. The sale of merchandise and brand association deals are yet to be added to this amount.
In fact, according to the latest reports, the overseas rights for all three languages has been sold for a whopping Rs 52 crore. Which roughly make the total amount Rs 350 crores.
