It’s unclear how long South Africa’s Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu will remain in hospital. But The Arch seems to be in an upbeat mood. He just tweeted a message for you.
Thank you all you tweeters and facebookers for the love and prayers for my good health. Love is the best medicine. God bless you all!

The Arch was readmitted to a Cape Town hospital yesterday as a precaution after his surgical wound had shown signs of infection.
He had undergone a minor operation 10 days earlier to treat the root cause of the infection, resulting from past treatment he’s received for prostate cancer.
Tutu had only been home for three days after a two-week stay in hospital.
Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille has wished him a speedy recovery. “On behalf of the people of Cape Town, I’d like to wish the archbishop a speedy recovery. He is in our prayers, may God bless him.”
