1. Turmeric and gram flour face pack
We’re not the first to exalt the benefits of turmeric or haldi. Used as a natural medicine, right from the olden times, a turmeric face pack can give your facial skin just the uplift it needs. To make this pack, you need to mix together-
1 tablespoon gram flour/besan
A pinch of turmeric
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 tablespoon rose water
Mix well to achieve a consistency that is not too thick. Apply this pack and keep it on long enough till it dries. 20 mins should do the trick. Start rubbing off the mask with your fingertips, in circular motion. Wash off the face pack entirely. Once off, pat your skin dry and apply a moisturiser. This pack has dual benefits. Apart from imparting a glow to your face, it can be used as a natural hair remover. Use this pack twice a week and you’ll love the results!
2. Oats and honey face pack
We’re not talking breakfast here! Oats, honey and curd can combine to make an extremely power-packed face mask. Extremely beneficial for health as separate entities, they come together to make a mask that will nourish your facial skin. For this pack, you’ll need –
Grounded oatmeal (a small packet of oats)
Few drops of organic honey
2 tablespoons yogurt
Mix well and apply it on your face till it dries off. After 15 minutes, wash this mask with cold water. Use the oatmeal and honey mask for young, glowing skin.
3. Papaya and honey pack
Papaya is loaded with an enzyme called papain, which is said to remove dead cells effectively. Egg white alone can give your skin a lot of nourishment and add vitality to your face. It’s really quick and easy to prepare this one! All you need here is a single egg. Separate the yolk from the egg, and beat the egg well. Dab on this wondrous egg-white pack with soft cotton and let it stay for 15 mins. Once it dries up, wash it off with a cloth soaked in warm water. Your skin will look younger and brighter if you use this pack twice a week.
