John Abraham is one actor who prefers shooting all his action and stunt scenes by himself. There is a lot that goes on behind shooting stunt sequences. Just a few days ago, John Abraham, who was injured during the shoot of Force 2, had posted a video on Instagram of his knee surgery. Nope, his purpose was not to gain sympathy. Rather it was to give the world an important message: There is a lot of ‘blood and sweat’ that goes on behind making a film.
Captioning the video as, “When we say “blood and sweat” goes into making a film… we mean it! In the hospital on my way to 3 knee surgeries while shooting for Force2 #pain #comeoutstronger @force2thefilm”
John’s fans prayed for the actor’s quick recovery. However, during a recent interview with Hindustan Times, John Abraham revealed how he took his injury casually despite being on the verge of losing a leg. Further explaining the same, he was quoted saying,
“I hurt my knee, but I continued shooting. When I got back, the doctor said that they needed to cut my knee open. They did that, and they removed clotted blood for six days. On the seventh day, they told me that they would have to amputate my leg. I was like ‘What?!’ Apparently, the infection in my leg was spreading. I didn’t take it seriously. I called up my doctor, and he told me to get a third surgery. I did that and he told me that I had saved my knee in time.”
More power to you, John!
