Preservation of Grace is a project under Emirates Red Crescent to help those less fortunate in the country by giving food, clothing and furniture, and in the process, minimize food wastage and spread awareness about the virtues of grace and giving in the society.

The food collection process starts with the Preservation of Grace team selecting the clean food with the help of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority and the Department of Municipal Affairs – Municipality of Abu Dhabi City. The food is then carried to the project’s facility by special vehicles for packaging and redistribution to the homes of the needy on the same night.

Commenting Sultan Mohammad Bin Hajr, Project Manager of Preservation of Grace initiative said: “Through this initiative, we are working to build strategic partnerships with associations and organizations across the UAE to serve and support those who are in need, thus helping us achieve sustainable community development.”

Majid El Hamamy, General Manager, Line Rise Exhibitions, organizer of the event said: “We are pleased to partner with Emirates Red Crescent and contribute to this thoughtful initiative, through which we can share the happiness and joy with those less fortunate. We are committed to providing every possible support towards making all necessary arrangements with the team to preserve the quality and temperature of the food items and deliver them to the needy.”
