The Gauteng SANSUI Summer Cup is one of the province’s most prestigious annual sporting events, combining the finest in horse racing with a fun, family-oriented day out. While the focus is on the thrilling horse races, the event is packed with entertainment for the whole family.
With Joburg’s biggest horse race taking place on Saturday, here’s the official line-up for the day.

The highlight of the event is of course the premium horse racing, and 12 races will keep the crowds thrumming for more. In between the action on the track, the day will be filled with fashion shows, buskers, live music and our awesome new half-time show. The show will see over 100 field band members, buskers, drum majorettes and South Africa’s very own Mi Casa put on an amazing spectacle right in the centre of the action.

The Gauteng SANSUI Summer Cup general access ticket is R75 and this will give you access to Turffontein Racecourse, as well as a voucher to the value of R25. Kids pay R20.
