Ranveer Singh’s ‘Gully Boy’ avatar is jaw-dropping

With Padmaavat set to hit the screens on January 25, things are looking up for Ranveer Singh, finally. As Alauddin Khilji, Ranveer looks brutal AF in the trailers of the film. He was last seen on the big screen in the film, Befikre.

With the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film mired in controversies, he seems to be have set his gaze on the Zoya Akhtar directorial ‘Gully Boy’ costarring Alia Bhatt, which went on the floors last week.

The duo will be pairing for the first time. Conspicuous by his absence from the promotions of Padmaavat, he seems to have invested his energies in the things to come.

In one of his interviews he had revealed that he is inspired by Daniel Day Lewis’ insane method acting.

Going by this radical physical transformation, Ranveer seems to have slipped into the skin of Naezy aka Naved Shaikh, a rapper from the slums of Mumbai, whose character he is set to essay in Gully Boy.

Saying that Ranveer takes his roles seriously will be an understatement. With this picture that he shared on Instragram, we can see that he leaves no stone unturned in inhabiting the inner world of his characters.
