Mahishasura Mardini by Aks & Lakshmi ft. Padmini Chandrashekar

Aks & Lakshmi present their version of the popular and very powerful Mahishasura Mardini stotram.

This stotram, a lyrical masterpiece by saint Adi Shankara, pays homage to Goddess Chamundeshwari and her defeat of the demon Mahishasura. We used guitar and synth lines in the style of popular Hollywood film soundtracks of today to drive the song’s rhythmic structure.
