Ross Govender, a 31-year-old interior architect, who was reported missing earlier this month has been found.
Govender’s body has been identified and according to police reports, he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to concerned friend and colleague Anthonie Bekker, Govender was last seen outside Babylon bar just before 12 in the morning on that Friday night.
He’s believed to have then walked alone to his car in the parking lot at the Thrupps Centre in Illovo. The Pink Ladies – a volunteer-based organisation which helps find missing people – had sent out an alert asking members of the public to assist in the search for Govender.
The family of Govender have requested privacy to deal with their loss.
