Sangham was in hot water previously for not pitching up for a show and was suspended over the trangsression, she cited reasons that she had mixed up the show times and days.
Sangham accuses individuals of selectively sourcing her comments on various social media groups and using those to inflame the situation that spun out of control.
SABC spokesperson, Kaizer Kganyago has confirmed that Sangham’s employment has been terminated.
“During the investigation, Ms. Sangham was requested to write to the broadcaster to explain what transpired and she obliged our request. After consideration we chose to end the relationship.
The South African Muslim Networks’ attorneys are currently formulating criminal and civil charges against Sangham. The organisation appealed to Muslims to not react to her in anyway that denigrates our religion but rather to let the law take its course.
