The South African music ensemble – The Dukes Combo are an integral part of Durban’s heritage.
The legendary band known to Durban society is still going strong as it celebrates six decades of specialising in ballroom, rock, pop and Latin American music.
During the apartheid era in South Africa, ‘The Dukes’ stood at the forefront of the local entertainment industry and were instrumental in bridging racial divides through music.
Band manager, Anthony Joseph was live in studio this with Newsbreak Lotus to speak about their legacy.
