#CANNES2019: Sonam Kapoor’s bold tuxedo look on the French Riviera

For her second day at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja made a dramatic entry in a Ralph & Russo tuxedo.

For her last show-stopping appearance at  Cannes Film Festival 2019, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja surprised her fans by forgoing the usual red carpet choice of a ballgown.

Instead, the actor picked a custom tuxedo by Ralph & Russo in off-white that was worn sans a shirt. The unique detail of the look was the dramatic overskirt that came attached to the jacket. Don’t miss the statement jewellery Kapoor Ahuja styled her tuxedo with.

Completing Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s latest Cannes look was a multi-tiered necklace encrusted with emeralds and diamonds, and a pair of matching drop-down earrings, both by Chopard.

Just like her other looks from Cannes 2019, her red carpet photos were shared by sister Rhea Kapoor. The caption of one of the photos gave details about the Veere Di Wedding actor’s look. “@sonamkapoor tonight for the premiere of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood tonight at the #cannesfilmfestival for @chopard In @ralphandrusso haute couture. Shoes by @jimmychoo,” wrote Rhea.

The décolletage-baring jacket was worn over the necklace, perfectly working the plunging neckline in its favour.

A pair of off-white pointed-toe heels rounded off her look. In the beauty department, Kapoor Ahuja opted for bold eye makeup—kohl-rimmed eyes, black eyeliner, mascara and brown eyeshadow were teamed with a glossy nude lip.
