DANCE: Madhuri Dixit Nene has always maintained that she has learnt everything about dance from choreographer Saroj Khan. On Saroj Khan’s birthday, Madhuri shared a heartfelt message for the veteran choreographer on social media with an adorable picture.
“Happy birthday to one of my favourite people @sarojkhanofficial ji. Our journey together has been amazing and I will always be proud of the legacy you have created. You are my Guru and will always hold a very special place in my heart,” she wrote.
On Twitter, the actor also shared a video of her dance performance at IIFA Awards this year, dedicated to the choreographer.
Recently, she also launched her own YouTube channel and she took to Twitter on to share her channel’s first video with fans and tweeted, “I’m so excited to share my first video on YouTube, which is a BTS from IIFA. Enjoy.” The video gives us a glimpse of what went on behind the scenes during Madhuri’s performance, which was a tribute to veteran choreographer Saroj Khan, at the IIFA awards 2019.
Speaking about the channel, Madhuri said, “YouTube is a platform that I’ve been wanting to explore for a long time. I love interacting with my fans in new and interesting ways, and a YouTube channel was an obvious choice. It’s going to be all things personal and candid with sneak peek into my personal and work life. I’m really excited. Looking forward to a great experience.”
Earlier, Madhuri had announced her second Marathi production titled Panchak with husband Dr Shriram Nene. The couple recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary with a vacation in the Seychelles in 2019.
