#INDIANCINEMA: Recently, film critic Anupama Chopra hosted a round table meet with some noted actors of the industry including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Manoj Bajpayee, Ayushmann Khurrana among others.
The discussion mainly revolved around the topic of the moral responsibility of actors and their ethics to turn down a role that sets a bad example for the public. And obviously, the film Arjun Reddy was brought to notice once again.
Deverakonda defended his film saying, “I feel like the world is fucked. I feel like by making a better film, can I save it? I just see it going downhill. Neither am I like ‘social responsibility’. I think it’s too much of a responsibility to take. Just a film doesn’t decide your behavior.” He received support from Manoj Bajpayee who said that he liked the film.
