WORLD NEWS: The coronavirus pandemic has reached every continent and some isolation habits can definitely raise an eyebrow or few even those one some people draw on.

Recently, the Thai government extended its existing lockdown until the end of April and has also ordered the closing down of additional public facilities and business units to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn has also been self-isolating, but in a luxury hotel with his entourage in Germany. The Thai royal also known as Rama X, has booked an entire four-star hotel to practise home quarantine.

Reports suggested that King Vajiralongkorn has a second home in Germany where he’s been spending a lot of time and has not made a public appearance in his home country since February.

People online were irked by his ‘self-isolation’ in a luxury location with his entourage. Here’s what they said:

While the King has been isolating in a luxury spa hotel in Germany, unrest seems to have grown in his own country with the 136 new coronavirus cases being reported on Monday, taking the total to 1,524. Hope he’s doing enough for his people while isolating himself in a different country.
