Lockdown: Corrupt Police Officers To Be Axed

SABC NEWS: Police have arrested several of their colleagues accused of breaking the law during the national lockdown. So far, over 100 police officers are behind bars for alleged corruption during the national lockdown.

Police Minister Bheki Cele says all implicated officers must be axed from the service if they are found guilty. Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) explains the approach that society needs to adopt to ensuring law enforcement are monitored against any illegal activity.
