Mixed Reaction To Cuban Doctors In South Africa

South African Medical Association has expressed discontent over the arrival of Cuban medical staff while SA doctors remain unemployed.

NEWS: The South African Medical Association (SAMA) has expressed reservations after the arrival of more than 200 Cuban doctors who are in South Africa to help with the battle against the coronavirus.

The Cuban medical brigade includes epidemiologists, physicians and biotechnologists. The medical organisation says the South African government should first utilise the skills of retired and unemployed doctors locally, before going abroad.
