Vikash Mathura spoke to Madhuri Dixit-Nene; Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor during the 'Prem Granth' shoot in the Drakensberg mountains.

NEWS: The Bollywood movie ‘Prem Granth’ directed by Rajiv Kapoor had shoot locations in Durban’s mountainous range of South Africa. The late veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit were in South Africa to shoot scenes where Vikash Mathura had the opportunity to interact with them.

In 2018, the Kapoor tweeted to ‘Prem Granth’ actor Madhuri Dixit about the SABC show segment.

Rishi Kapoor tweeted,

“Prem Granth@. First Hindi film to be shot in South Africa just after arpatheid was abolished in 1994. Never knew this documentary existed during the making of the film. Enjoy! ⁦@MadhuriDixit

Vikash Mathura had the privilege of recording these interviews for SABC television show “Impressions” in December 1994. In this video show segment, Mathura spoke to the lead actors Madhuri Dixit-Nene; Rishi Kapoor and director Rajiv Kapoor at Cathedral Peak in the Drakensberg mountains of South Africa, while they were shooting a song sequence for the film Prem Granth.
