Karan Johar Tackles Death & Marriage

Filmmaker Karan Johar’s social media is filled with videos of his kids Yash and Roohi. His Instagram handle has snippets of the cute twins touring his walk-in closet, criticizing his fashion choices as well as his dancing skills.

Recently though, he shared open letters to ‘Death’ and ‘Wedding’, reports Hindustan Times. The first note was written from the perspective of ‘Life’ saying that memories always win over death.

The second contemplated the differences between ‘Wedding’ and ‘Marriage’ by noting that weddings are deceptive and temporary.

Karan celebrated his 48th birthday on May 25 with his family during lockdown. On the same day, he also informed everyone that 2 members of his household staff tested positive for COVID-19 and were put under quarantine.

Do you think these incidents brought on his reflective mood? Either way, his observations are worth pondering over, don’t you think?
