KZN Schools Closed Over COVID-19 Being Decontaminated

SABC NEWS:  KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Education – Kwazi Mshengu says the two schools that have been closed in the province due to staff members testing positive for COVID19 are being de-contaminated and will re-open soon. On Monday, the Apollo Secondary School at Chatsworth, south of Durban closed, while Clairwood Secondary School in Durban closed yesterday.

Meanwhile, Mshengu says the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) have been deployed to assist close to 60 schools that have not opened due to a lack of water.

In other news, the South African Hindu Maha Sabha has condemned the Hinduphobic attack made by Chatsworth evangelist, Simeon Bradley Chetty. The Hindu religious body intends taking strong action against Chetty and the Revival Ministries church. read more here
