Devi Serves The Spice On Friday Nights

TELEVISION: South Africans are gearing up for the return of iconic investigative journalist, Devi Sankaree Govender, to the television circuit with the DEVI talk show. The former Carte Blanche presenter, jumps into the hot seat with her signature show, promising a thrilling line-up of entertainment, for viewers on Friday nights.

In a COVID-19 future, Devi has had to reinvent her show a few times before coming up with the DEVI talk show. Govender reveals the show plans to take on scamsters, crooks, corporates while bringing an added touch of sassy and spicy in-your-face entertainment.

Adding the happy to your Friday nights, Govender has taken the COVID-19 impact on South Africans into consideration, realizing that audiences need a break to recharge. With that in mind, on this evening’s premiere show, you can expect Govender to unleash the fun while taking on real consumer issues that connect with you.

Devi will air every Friday night, premiering on e.tv at 6:30 PM and eNCA at 8:30 PM.  With a unique sense of humour and no-nonsense approach, Devi Sankaree Govender will delve into the lives of a variety of extraordinary guests in her thirty-minute show.

Devi Sankaree Govender is an award-winning investigative journalist who has spent the past 24 years working in the media, starting out on radio and later turning to print and television. Devi, an MBA graduate, joined Carte Blanche in 2002 and often finds herself in the middle of life-threatening situations. She has gained a reputation for being fearless in her efforts to expose corruption wherever it exists.
