CELEBRITY NEWS: The death of the 34-year-old Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, has shaken Karan Johar who said, “I blame myself for not having been in touch with you for the past year.” The Dharma Productions head produced the Netflix film Drive which was one of Rajput’s last films.
Adding to his eulogy statement, Johar wrote on Instagram, “I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with but somehow never followed up on that feeling, will never make the same mistake again.”
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his home in Bandra Wast, Mumbai, there was no suicide note found, according to the PTI news agency. The ace filmmaker, Karan Johar also said that “we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times, some of succumb to these silences and go within”; calling Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death has been a “huge wake up call.”

Johar shared a tweet prior to his Instagram post, he wrote, “This is heartbreaking. I have such strong memories of the times we shared… when the shock subsides, only the best memories remain.”
Rajput’s management team released a statement on Sunday, the statement reads, “It pains us to share that Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer with us. We request his fans to keep him in their thoughts and celebrate his life, and his work like they have done so far. We request media to help us maintain privacy at this moment of grief.”
The late actor made his mark on the Balaji TV soap Pavitra Rishta, which ran for five years on the television circuit. After quitting television, he made his Bollywood debut with the 2013 flick ‘Kai Po Che!’ and starred in Bollywood movies like Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, the MS Dhoni biopic, the romance movie ‘Kedarnath’ and Apart from Netflix’s Drive, he also appeared in the movies ‘Sonchiriya‘ and ‘Chhichhore’ last year, both extremely well-received.
