NEWS: Convicted fraudster Sugan Deon Naicker has successfully managed to con hundreds of individuals over more than a decade of their hard-earned savings and now he has been discovered running new fraudulent operations in Queensburgh, south of Durban.
A joint operation by Indian Spice investigative unit KALI along with the police authorities, Naicker was successfully nabbed at a Johannesburg mall in 2017. Soon after bail was granted, Naicker disappeared without a trace but in 2019, he was traced to Margate where another police operation was undertaken by the Port Shepstone Vehicle Crime investigation unit. Naicker was arrested however is out on bail while awaiting trial for seven counts of fraud amounting to a value of approximately R594 000. While out on bail, the Naicker has now been discovered running fraud operations from Queensburgh, south of Durban. The scamster has created various Facebook pages offering cars for sale, Naicker is using the following number 083 859 0655 and 066 1538 602 to communicate with his victims on Whatsapp.
Naicker has been posing as a First National Bank employee within their vehicle finance division, Wesbank using that cover Naicker was able to convince victims that he was able to bring in profitable returns on their ‘ financial investment’ into his car sales operations. Most victims are led to believe that they would be able to secure repossessed vehicles from as little as R30, 000 with a condition that funds would have to be deposited into his personal account. Once funds were transferred into his personal banking account, Naicker would lose contact with his victims moving on to another location to evade arrest.
Victims who have been scammed by the fraudster are required to open their cases against Sugan Deon Naicker as soon as possible and then contact IRS Forensic Investigations on 086 191 1477. This will aid IRS Forensic Investigations to work with the South African police service to include your case in the Naicker docket and to assist with potentially recovering your money from Naicker.
