Sushant Psychiatrist Breaks His Silence

NEWS: A report carried by various media houses, reveal that Sushant Singh Rajput’s psychiatrist – Kersi Chavda – had breached doctor-patient privileges. News reports claim that the Mumbai doctor had said the late actor was under treatment for the mental condition, bipolar disorder. A now-retracted Times of India news story had also cited sources claiming that Rajput’s counsellor has revealed the actor regretted breaking up with Ankita Lokhande.

Following the reports that broke this weekend, Sushant’s psychiatrist, Dr Kersi Chavda, has broken his silence taking to the social media platform, Facebook, to quash all rumours against him. He stated that he has never breached doctor-patient confidentiality especially Rajput’s sessions. Supporting his claims, the doctor attached a screenshot of a conversation, where Mumbai Police DCP Abhishek Trimukhe, advises a journalist that the doctor’s statement hasn’t been recorded just yet.

“DCP zone 9…Abhishek Trimukhe, under whose purview I spoke all of three minutes… had made this statement to the media… which was conveniently not posted. So… I have not even made a statement. It is incredible how much filth there is in the media… wherein the most basic “confidentiality issue” between a client and a therapist… is just trampled upon with great impunity. So Dr Chavda… the infamous one… has done nothing that could have caused so much anguish and heartache in people. De Chavda is a professional who is ethical…”, read the statement.
