Visually Impaired Girl Wows AR Rahman Playing His Song

NEWS: A visually impaired girl known as Sahana Niren has captured the hearts of millions online with her musical performance of a song composed by Indian music maestro A. R. Rahman. The teenager is seen performing the song on a double keyboard, reports News18. Sahana’s mother had shared the video on Twitter where the young teenager showcases her talent by performing the hit track ‘Thumbi Thullal’ from the Tamil film ‘Cobra’.

Sahana moves her fingers effortlessly as she brings life to the melody on the keyboards, even the maestro himself compliments the youngster’s performance captioning his retweet, “Sweet.”

Producer of the movie, Lalit Kumar, impressed with her efforts of reimagining the song, gifted Sahana with an audio studio recorder.
