Aryan Benevolent Home PMB COVID-19 Residents Relocated

The Aryan Benevolent Society Home in Pietermaritzburg has been dealt yet another deadly blow, as COVID-19 infections continue to plague the establishment.

On Friday, ten residents were moved to the Pietermaritzburg Royal Show Grounds, now being used as a quarantine and isolation centre. This comes as twelve residents from the care-home succumbed to the coronavirus. Chairperson, Dev Naidoo says nine of the other residents are in isolation, while one resident was taken away by their family. Naidoo says they have been overwhelmed with support since Newsbreak Lotus FM first broke the story.
