Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma have revealed on Thursday that they are expecting their first child. The couple are expecting their child to be born in the month of January 2021. The husband and wife power couple took to Twitter captioning their posts, “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021.”
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli married on December 11, 2017 at an intimate gathering in Tuscany, Italy. The couple hosted two wedding receptions, one in Delhi and the other in Mumbai. Their guests included Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bollywood and cricketing celebrities at their Delhi reception.
Virat Kohli is currently in Dubai gearing up for Indian Premier League with fellow Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates. The 13th edition of the Twenty20 cricket tournament will be played in the United Arab Emirates from 19 September to 10 November.
Sharma has a meteoric rise include blockbuster hits PK, Sultan, Dil Dhadakne Do and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. She was last seen in the 2018 film Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Sharma’s production house Clean Slate Films has been financing streaming content on Amazon Prime Video with the critically-acclaimed Paatal Lok and Netflix’s Bulbul.
