Rape and Kidnap Charges Opened Against Cornubia Man

Charges of kidnapping and rape have opened relating to a 13-year old girl who went missing from her home in Cornubia, north of Durban. It’s alleged the girl went missing after she was last seen with her 35-year-old neighbour. Following an intensive search, the teenager was found with the neighbour at a relative’s house in Richards Bay. Police spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala says no arrests have been made thus far.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were responsible for locating the child after receiving several tip-offs. The security company had returned her safely home around 3 am the next morning.
