With September being Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Awareness Month internationally, Newsbreak Talk speaks to award-winning journalist and author Nivashni Nair Sukdhev.
Nair-Sukdhev published a book documenting her personal story of battling the condition and overcoming Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. She also said there were several moments when she stopped writing because it was too painful to continue as she relived the anguish, she and her husband Rohan Sukdhev experienced for eight years as they battled infertility. However, she says writing the book was also a reminder of the support they had during their journey. Her book titled What’s On My Mind? Making Babies has recently launched, Taresh Harreepershad goes in conversation with her and her doctor, Professor Jayanthilall Bagratee about the infertility condition.
