World Suicide Prevention Day 2020 Tips With SADAG

Mental illness is becoming increasingly concerning with 1400 people calling the South African Depression and Anxiety Group daily during Covid-19. These are the sentiments of operations director at SADAG, Cassey Chamber. Today marks World Suicide Prevention Day, bringing to focus the importance of mental health and how Covid-19 is currently affecting people mentally. Chamber says suicidal thoughts don’t just go away, neither does depression or anxiety, and people need to seek help immediately if they are facing such mental challenges
