KZN Health MEC denies claims
KwaZulu-Natal Health MEC, Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu says assessments are underway at several health-care facilities when it comes to health-care workers accommodation. This after reports of dozens of nurses having been served with eviction notices and told to vacate their rooms at Wentworth Hospital, south of Durban, by October the 1st. This allegedly in order to make way for Cuban-trained doctors. Simelane-Zulu explains that this is not so, and several facilities are being assessed when it comes to health-care workers accommodation, not only Wentworth Hospital.
