As news emerges of, Deepika Padukone being summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for questioning into the ongoing drug probe, it seems that filming has ceased, for the Deepika Padukone-Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer in Goa. The location site of the shoot was abuzz with filming going on until late Tuesday evening, but as of Wednesday, it has been quiet.

The allegations against Deepika Padukone
In the Whatsapp chat in possession by the NCB, Deepika Padukone allegedly asks for “hash”. Republic World reports that Deepika Padukone is in consultation with her lawyers in Mumbai in relation to the allegations and summons that has been issued upon her. Soon after receiving her summons, Padukone has reportedly consulted with her 12-member legal team in Mumbai via video conferencing. It is believed that her husband Ranveer Singh also joined the video call, sources further reveal that Padukone is set to arrive in Mumbai in time for her appearance.
Padukone’s name surfaced on Monday night after a series of Whatsapp chats allegedly implicate her in sourcing drugs through her manager, Karishma Prakash. The NCB is expected to question the actor on Friday, 25 September. Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor are to appear on Saturday, 26 September.
