Sureshnie Rieder is a big fan of Fry Family Food Co’s brand of healthy food products and quite recently she created these Fry’s Soya Corn dogs for her gorgeous daughter Pavani. This vegetarian recipe is a perfect addition to your menu at home during the Hindu fasting month of Purtassi. Here’s the video of Sureshnie preparing this amazing plant-based meal for her family. She added to her post on Instagram,
“My good friend Lena Valabh taught me how to make Frys Soya Corn Dogs.
Pavani looooooves them and this one of the treats I’ve been making for her for a light snack or ‘hot lunch’. I made peri peri wedges as the little side for this dish:) Incase you’re stuck for ideas, I hope you make this:)”

The Fry Family Food Co. is also rolling out improved versions of their Traditional and Spiced Burgers. The burgers have been revamped with a new formula that promises more protein and better taste.
Here’s taking you back to 2016, when her husband Leigh Rieder, braved the Johannesburg cold and whips up something for her as they’re fasting for Purtassi.
She captioned these awesome food posts on Instagram saying, “Everyday is #braaiday. Pretty Cold in Jozi tonight but it didn’t stop @leighrieder from lighting a fire and trying something completely different…Braai Toasted Sarmies. I’m also fasting (eating Veggies only) so this was a yummy treat around the fire #nationbuilding #justbraai“
