The State of Real Journalism: Ukraine and the War of Propaganda

Veteran journalist John Pilger unpacks the war in Ukraine, especially the role of media in filtering out any objectivity and pushing the US narrative.

Most news outlets parrot what their leaders say, who want US government aid or investment, and therefore question nothing. Some run news direct from US government sources, like AP, without any filter. This is not to say the war is justified, but in real journalism there was always a semblance of fair reporting, trying to understand the issue and not appeal to emotions and trickery.

Many media outlets, even in SA, carry the responsibility of duping people.
