The impact of the diaspora in the United States has led to the creation of Hindu Heritage Month, inaugurated this October 2021. True to the vast and timeless nature of Hindu culture, it styles itself as an “open-source” event with people celebrating this as they choose and inclusiev of the other Dharmic faiths – mainly Buddhism, Sikkhism, Jainism.
